Don't know how effective...but there are efforts to address that

There are expeditions each year now...specifically to collect all the crap left on the mountain. Like I said...I have no idea how effective all that is on the issue. There are just too many people who are allowed to purchase permits...and it has to be difficult to keep up with all that human traffic up there.
